How to obtain your FedEx API credentials
- Go to http://www.fedex.com/developer
- Click the "Sign Up or Log In" link on the top menu on the right.
- Click the "Create Account" link at the bottom of the login box if you don’t have a FedEx.com username and password. There is an option to register for a User ID only so you are not required to create an account.
- Follow the registration instructions if required.
- Login to http://www.fedex.com/us/developer
- Click the "FedEx Web Services" link on the menu located on the left side of the webpage.
- Click on the "Move to Production" link.
- Click on the "Get Production Key" link near the top of the page.
- Follow registration process. Do not navigate away from the final confirmation page until you record your key.
- Record your API Key and Meter Number after the registration is complete.
- An email with your password will be sent to the address listed in the registration. Save this information in a secure place.
