ShipTime now has the ability to let the couriers know you would like an Adult Signature to be acquired when dropping off a shipment!
This option is shown during the Shipping Details screen when entering in the dimensions of the shipment.
Each courier/shipment will have a different cost related to the Adult Signature option. This can be viewed on the courier selection screen before selecting which quote you'd like to use. Only couriers that support this function will display on this screen.
Users can also set this option defaulted to ON for every shipment through Settings > Preferences and setting the Signature option to Adult.
Please note that the following couriers restrictions:
Purolator, Canada Post, Canpar, and Loomis will accept adult signatures domestically (within Canada). This option is not available for international shipments.
FedEx offers this option both internationally and domestically.
Canada Post Age Restriction:
Canada Post will required a person age 19+ in all provinces of Canada in order to sign for the package.
For shipments to Quebec, Manitoba, and Alberta, the age requirement is 18+.
