If insurance was purchased (Declared Value) during shipment creation, there will be an option through the ShipTime dashboard to submit a claim in the event of a problem with the shipment.
To file a claim through Shipsurance:
- Login to the ShipTime Dashboard
- On the left-hand side, select Manage and then History & Tracking
- Click in the search bar and enter in the ShipID, tracking number, or name of the receiver to locate the shipment and click on it
- Next, click on the option Make Claim to initiate the claim with Shipsurance
